Mayling Perez – CEO & Founder of WorkTC

Mayling Perez is the bilingual CEO and Founder of WorkTC, South Florida’s premier real estate transaction coordination team primarily serving Miami-Dade County and its key cities, with Broward County and its key cities as secondary markets and support available across the rest of Florida.

Her journey in real estate spans more than three decades and is a true masterclass in resilience and expertise. In the early 1990s Mayling began her career selling auto and home insurance, quickly learning the financial and protective side of real estate transactions from the ground up.

In 2006, while living in Las Vegas, she stepped into the role of in-house Transaction Coordinator for a high-volume team of over 40 agents at Prudential Americana Group Realtors. When the company was acquired by Berkshire Hathaway, the firm became Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Nevada Properties, and Mayling continued rising through the ranks.

During the devastating 2008 housing market crash, her broker sent her into the field to execute the “cash for keys” program on behalf of lenders. Mayling personally facilitated the recovery of over 200 homes — ensuring each property was returned to the lender in the best possible condition, preventing damage by current tenants, and helping lenders avoid the lengthy and expensive full foreclosure process, which saved them substantial attorney fees and processing costs.

In 2011 she relocated to Miami and joined an attorney-led title company as a Short Sale Processor, where she routinely handled more than 28 short sales per month at the height of the crisis. Two years later, in 2013, she advanced to the role of Title Closer for another prominent attorney-led title company, mastering every detail of the closing process from contract to keys.

Seeing how much agents struggled with the paperwork and coordination side of deals, Mayling founded WorkTC in 2016 with a simple but powerful mission: to be the reliable, proactive partner that lets agents focus on what they do best — building relationships and growing their business.

Since opening its doors, WorkTC under Mayling’s leadership has coordinated the successful closing of more than 5,000 properties with an estimated total sales volume exceeding $1.4 billion. The company is recognized for its bilingual English/Spanish support, deep Miami-Dade condo/HOA expertise, “no fee if the deal doesn’t close” policy, and daily proactive communication that eliminates stress for agents.
